Targeted Mental Health in Schools (TaHMS)
Targeted Mental Health in Schools (TaMHS) is a project funded by the Department
for Children, Schools and Families (now The Department of Education). Its aim is to transform the way that mental
health support is delivered to children aged 5 to 13, to improve their mental
wellbeing and tackle problems more quickly.
Use of play-based approaches to enable school children to express themselves have reported
positive outcomes in relation to anxiety.
